Range Expands Fiber Network from Rapid City, SD, to Cheyenne, WY

THE 305-MILE FIBER OPTIC ROUTE WILL PROVIDE HIGH-SPEED CONNECTIVITY TO MANY UNDERSERVED AREAS IN EASTERN WYOMING AND REDUNDANCY TO MUCH OF WYOMING.

Range, a leading provider of broadband and telecommunications services, is thrilled to announce the addition of a new middle mile fiber route from Rapid City, South Dakota, to Cheyenne, Wyoming, along Highway 85. This significant infrastructure enhancement aims to meet the growing demand for reliable and high-speed broadband connectivity across the region, including the eastern part of Wyoming.

The expansion project, which commenced in early 2023, represents Range’s commitment to bridging the digital divide and fostering economic growth in communities in Wyoming. This project seeks to empower businesses, residents, and institutions with access to cutting-edge telecommunications infrastructure.
