Java Moon is Sheridan’s gathering place. Located in historic downtown Sheridan, WY Java Moon focuses on quality espresso drinks, baked goods and breakfast and lunch items. Java Moon provides a community because people enjoy gathering over great coffee and excellent food. Sheridan Seed Company
Sheridan Seed Company has been a staple in the Sheridan community since 1926. Locally owned and operated, the company is well known for its dedication to customer service and its strong community ties. Sheridan Seed regularly supports local organizations and events such as Rotary, the Fishing Derby, area rodeos, 4-H, FFA, the Sheridan County Fair, and the Big Horn Polo Club. In addition to giving back, they provide a wide variety of products including feed and veterinary supplies for livestock and pets, horse tack, and even wildlife feeders and feed for backyard animals. Gardeners and homeowners will also find seeds for gardens, lawns, and pastures, while farriers rely on Sheridan Seed as the area’s largest supplier.
The Hub On Smith
Since 1973, The Hub on Smith has been a pillar of the Sheridan community, growing from a grassroots effort into a model senior center that serves over 3,400 older adults annually. Guided by a mission to celebrate, embrace, and serve older adults for the betterment of the community, The Hub provides essential services that support independence, dignity, and connection. These services—including home-delivered meals, transportation, in-home support, caregiver resources, dementia education, and social wellness programs—are vital lifelines for older adults in Sheridan County.
